刘星星，男，博士，副研究员，中国科学院青年创新促进会会员。2016年博士毕业于中国科学院地球环境研究所，主要从事风尘沉积与古气候研究，通过对湖泊、黄土、河流阶地等记录开展高分辨率多指标分析，重建了15万年来西风-季风演化历史，探讨了末次冰消期以来千-百年尺度粉尘-水文气候变化，揭示出千-百年尺度季风变化对高、低纬过程的不同响应。以第一作者和合作作者在Quaternary Science Reviews、Climate of the Past、Palaeogeography Palaeoclimatology Palaeoecology、Aeolian Research等期刊上发表SCI论文50余篇。主持国家自然科学基金青年基金、面上基金和中国科学院人才项目，参与多项国家自然科学基金和科技部项目。
