金章东,男,浙江永康人,1971年5月出生,博士,二级研究员,博士生导师,国家杰出青年科学基金获得者(2012年),国家自然科学基金委员会创新研究群体项目首席科学家(2022年)。1993、1996年于西安地质学院(现长安大学)获地质学学士和矿床学硕士学位,1999年毕业于南京大学地球科学系,获地球化学专业博士学位。同年,入中国科学院南京地理与湖泊研究所自然地理学博士后流动站工作。2001年8月博士后期满后,被聘为创新副研究员留中国科学院湖泊沉积与环境重点实验室工作。2003年11月至2005年12月受英国皇家学会资助,赴英国剑桥大学进行国际合作研究。2006年1月被聘为创新研究员,2007年4月调入中国科学院地球环境研究所工作,2008年9月至2009年8月,台湾成功大学研究教授。2008年入选中国科学院人才计划(A类),2014年入选科技部中青年科技创新领军人才,2016年入选国家人才计划领军人才。现任黄土与第四纪地质国家重点实验室主任,主持地表过程与化学风化研究室,兼任西安交通大学及全球环境变化研究院教授、《地球化学》和《Frontiers in Earth Science: Geochemistry》副主编、《地质论评》和《湖泊科学》编委。研究工作获得12项国家自然科学基金、973 计划、重大科学研究计划、国家科技支撑计划、The UK Royal Society BP Fellowship等资助。已发表论文400余篇,其中Science、Nature Geoscience、Science Advances、Nature Communications、PNAS、Geology等SCI收录论文300余篇(第一作者30篇),EI收录论文56篇,引用逾万次。

研究方向:

陆地表生地球化学过程,特别是高原周边盆地沉积物记录的流域化学风化过程及其对青藏高原隆升和季风气候的响应机制、不同气候区高分辨率受气候制约的化学风化序列、流域物质输移及碳循环等。
